That's the finished illustration for the Wormworld Saga App homescreen. I'm looking forward to seeing it the first time in the actual app with the logos and the title fading in and everything!
It took close to 16 hours to create this illustration. Quite some time if you can invest only 2 hours each day. Man, I would have finished this one in two days if I could just work fulltime on the project. But hey, we are working towards that goal and patience is a virtue. :)
However, I think this is a nice and atmospheric starting point for the app and it was well worth the effort. As soon as I have finished the screen layout I will be able to show you how everything will work together.

ReplyDeleteWOW! I was so impressed by the Line Art- to see it in color is stunning. I was imagining it as a night scene so the daylight is not only a surprise, but a really pleasant surprise at that! Too bad it's vertical, I'd use that as a desktop! You're such an inspiration! I'm doing my own Graphic Novel, first time, and I've been working on it for almost 17 months... it's such a hard labor of love, but I check in to see what you've put up, get all excited, then head off to work on my own!
