Right at the moment I'm using layers to block in the different shapes (in this case for example the sky, the house, the trees, the ground) and I also use layers to seperate elements inside the shapes (like the roof, the walls, the windows). But I put a lot of attention into not letting the artwork get too clean. Generally I tend to work with less layers when I'm painting nature scenes. Chapter 2 has a lot of interior scenes and I use a lot of layers to paint furniture and stuff like that.Daniel Lieskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14606468348038406671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-51047350970597760252011-11-23T18:23:47.419+00:002011-11-23T18:23:47.419+00:00Looking forward to a nice Christmas present of Cha...Looking forward to a nice Christmas present of Chapter 2 delivered straight to my iPad!Bill Leflerhttp://globible.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-4113631608351851332011-11-23T16:48:12.082+00:002011-11-23T16:48:12.082+00:00Superschön! I only have to define the tasks before every milestone but this takes only five minutes or so. I can write the numbers on a paper or doc file but at the end it is more time wasted in counting rather than drawing. <br />Beatiful illustration as ever.
