If I understand you right, you are talkin...@ Marc:

If I understand you right, you are talking about something like a paid website access to premium content. To be honest: I never thought about that until now. Maybe that's because I have no experience with paid websites myself. Basically, with the app I steared into the direction that felt most desireable for myself. I have to concentrate my limited ressources on this for the time being but, just like with the book adaption, a web app might become an interesting venture in the future. I'm still a one man show and have to tackle one thing at a time but this definitely lands on my list.Daniel Lieskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14606468348038406671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-91652778988474754682011-08-03T14:07:24.684+01:002011-08-03T14:07:24.684+01:00The app preview looks great, and seems interesting...The app preview looks great, and seems interesting... for those who possess a tablet device...
To follow up on Cat's question, don't you think that setting a lower priority to developing a premium web-based platform is a risk in terms of income delays or even income loss. I mean: don't you think that the more users of a platform the more potential monetization you would expect. You bet that tablets are The Future, but premium website monetization would be a much more secure source of income right now, and therefore worth the price of setting it to a high enough priority. In the meantime, the cost issue argument makes sense, and maybe even closes the debate... I guess that you will know much better where you stand once the app is released!Marchttp://lepcydis.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-40293147479905356372011-08-03T10:34:58.760+01:002011-08-03T10:34:58.760+01:00Dear Cat,

This is the platform most suited for the project. It would have been too difficult to support all different platforms right from the start but you can bet that if we make it work on this platform we'll spread out to other platforms, too. Right at the moment it's a pure cost issue.Daniel Lieskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14606468348038406671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-60055876550765550032011-08-02T20:04:19.607+01:002011-08-02T20:04:19.607+01:00I posted this on the kickstarter update-post. Not everybody owns an iPad (it's very expensive). But I'd like to buy the extended versions to look at the artwork and the background information despite my lack of iPad.Katharina Gerlachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00223722392075669331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-4695004131532040702011-08-01T23:50:41.605+01:002011-08-01T23:50:41.605+01:00sweet can't wait!sweet can't wait!Michael Mercerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10777429141774170500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-37521728159696667612011-08-01T17:11:23.333+01:002011-08-01T17:11:23.333+01:00I'm waiting it!I'm waiting it!masahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03014838426571170391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1101389180221568079.post-71659311952436003332011-07-31T16:58:27.411+01:002011-07-31T16:58:27.411+01:00Good app Daniel.
